Love this game. The aestetics were an interesting choice/concept, but I believe the spirit of chiptune and old Gameboy were flawlessly executed.

Secondly, I did the entire game on mobile. Definitely a big praise for someone who wanted to play Newgrounds games on mobile. The considerate choice is a great choice of having a broader audience.

The game mechanic was real cool too! I doubt I can be a professional refuser, but hey, I can be a real good M.I.K.U agent!!!

As a note, it's built in GB Studio natively for Game Boy. So everything from the art and music standpoint was to conform to the very specific rules for memory usage and audio chip capabilities.

This means 160x144px maximum resolution, limit of three colors per sprite, no more than five total sprites in a single column or row, a limit of four audio bands (only two of which can actually carry melody), etc.

It's not just the bit-crushed music and so-called "strange" visuals that make this game great, but the story too... god, I realized what I was fueling.
